ORLANDO, Fla. – Zanella Racing delivered another strong weekend in the 2026 USF Juniors Presented by Continental Tire championship this past weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. The team was led by standout performances from Victor Couto and Olivier Mrak, who both secured multiple podium finishes across the triple-header race weekend.

Race One saw Couto finish second with teammate Mrak directly behind him in third to give Zanella Racing a double podium result. Canadian driver Leonardo Serravalle delivered a strong home race performance with a fifth-place finish, while Jared Oselka finished 13th, Grant Mitchell crossed the line 17th and Max Mokarem finished 18th.

Race Two produced another double podium for the team with Couto again finishing second and Mrak third, mirroring the race one results. Serravalle added another solid result with a sixth-place finish. Mokarem improved to 11th while Mitchell once again finished 17th. Oselka was unfortunately unable to complete the race.

The big storyline of the weekend was Mokarem who had to overcome a massive qualifying crash to return to the track and score a pair of respectable results. Salvaging what he could from the weekend, Mokarem will shift his focus forward.

Sunday’s final race saw Mrak continue his impressive weekend by securing second place on the podium. Couto followed closely behind in fifth position. Serravalle crossed the finish line seventh, but a post-race penalty moved him back to 16th in the official results. Mokarem finished 10th, Oselka rebounded to 13th, and Mitchell completed the race in 15th.

Team owner Jose Zanella reflected on the weekend’s success and the continued progress of the program: “It was a very positive weekend for our team overall. Victor and Olivier both did an outstanding job all weekend and consistently put themselves in podium contention. Leonardo also showed strong pace at his home event, and every driver continued learning and improving throughout the weekend. Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is one of the toughest tracks on the schedule, so to leave with multiple podiums and strong results is something we are proud of.”

Leaving the weekend, Zanella Racing occupies three of the top six positions in the championship points table with seven races remaining.

Zanella Racing will now prepare for its next race event at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course over Fourth of July weekend. Before then, the team will head to Road America in June for a two-day test as preparations continue for the remainder of the 2026 season.
