THOROLD, Ont., Canada – Leonardo Serravalle is set to return to competition this weekend as the USF Juniors Presented by Continental Tire championship heads to Carolina Motorsports Park for the second event weekend of the 2026 season. Competing with Zanella Racing, Serravalle will take on Rounds 4, 5 and 6 at the South Carolina circuit as he looks to rebound from a season-opening weekend of mixed results at Homestead-Miami Speedway. After showing flashes of speed to begin the year, Serravalle now turns his focus to putting together a strong and consistent weekend at one of the key early stops on the calendar.
Serravalle has already shown his ability to run at the front in 2026, having earned a podium finish in the YACademy Winter Series earlier this year. That result, combined with his continued development with Zanella Racing, gives the young driver confidence heading into a busy three-race weekend.
“I’m looking forward to getting back on track with Zanella Racing this weekend,” said Leonardo Serravalle. “Homestead had its positives but we know we have more to show. Carolina Motorsports Park is another good opportunity to keep learning, keep building and put together three strong races We’ve already shown good pace this year and I’m excited to get back out there and fight for solid results.”
The Carolina Motorsports Park event begins on Thursday with two test sessions, followed by a third test session, practice, and qualifying on Friday. The race weekend will then feature Race 1 and Race 2 on Saturday, with Race 3set for Sunday.
With three races on the schedule and valuable championship points on the line, Serravalle and Zanella Racing will look to turn early-season promise into a strong weekend result at Carolina Motorsports Park.
