With two drivers competing at the first round of the USF Juniors Presented by Cooper Tires, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport will double in size for round two this weekend. Set to take on the Virginia International Raceway (VIR), the Texas based program will bring a quartet of drivers to the triple header weekend in Virginia.

“It is always good when a team starts a series and then doubles in size for the second round,” explained Garry Orton. “I think we have shown that we can compete, and win, in several different series and this weekend we will have four drivers looking for the team’s first-ever USF Juniors win at VIR.”

Returning to USF Juniors competition will be round two podium winner Jeremy Fairbairn. Fairbairn will lead the Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport quartet into VIR sitting fifth in the overall point standings and a major threat for race wins and podium results. With two weekends under his belt and confidence heading to the third event, Fairbairn should be a contender.

Joining the Floridian driver will be Titus Sherlock. Showing pace at the Ozarks International Raceway and Barber Motorsports Park, Sherlock ran inside the top five on occasion, but his finishing results were not a true reflection of his overall speed. In his most recent event, front wing damage in race one saw him back in P16 while a top-10 result of ninth in race two provided some positive momentum heading into this weekend where Sherlock will look to score his first podium result of the season.

Joining the Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport efforts in VIR will be Ryan Shehan and Lucas Fecury. Shehan has scored multiple podium results in 2022 and will look for his first USF Juniors hardware this weekend. Fecury has been a model of consistency in 2022 and will aim to gain knowledge and experience at VIR for future events.

Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport will hit the track on Friday for three test sessions before qualifying and the first wheel-to-wheel action on Saturday. Races two and three on the weekend will roll off the grid on Sunday.
