Florida karter plans to run final two races of the season with championship leading team
ORLANDO, FL – Zanella Racing is pleased to confirm a fifth driver for the final two events of the 2025 USF Juniors program with the addition of Florida kart racer Rahim Alibhai for Road America and Portland International Raceway. The 15-year-old Orlando, Florida student will make his series debut in Wisconsin on the July 24-26 weekend and then plans to compete at Portland as well to set up for a full season campaign in 2026.
Alibhai currently competes in national level US karting events and has tested previously with Zanella Racing, having run the USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire ‘Spring Training’ event at NOLA Motorsports Park in February.
“I’m very excited to welcome Rahim to the team," offered Naka Zanella, Team Owner. “He is a disciplined and dedicated driver with everything it takes to reach the top. He showed great pace during the Road America test, and I’m confident he will have a strong start to his USF Juniors journey.”
Alibhai has been competing in the US karting scene for the last four years and has been part of the national circuit for the last two years. Rahim has participated in the top national karting series, such as Superkarts! USA, ROK Cup USA, the United States Pro Kart Series and the Stars Championship, scoring many top-five and top-10 finishes. He’s also spent time in Europe in FIA-CIK and Champions of the Future events. With his focus having now turned to open wheel formula car racing, Rahim has participated in a number of tests with Zanella Racing and has also traveled to Europe to test F4 machinery with Campos Racing.
